The short lip allows the lure to rest a little more on the water, preventing the action from breaking when the animation is too wide for a smooth swim.
Tail
The tail is made out of silicone to reduce the risk of deformation and breakage. the tail is straight, which produces execessive water buoyancy and creats a swimming action even with low water flows.
Articulation
The one-piece articulation system allows the lure to swim from left to right with very small twich to insist on strategic positions. This joint also produces a slight metallic squeaking noise between the two parts, which has a way of making predatores rise.
